Welcome to our FAQ section. Here you should be able to find answers to most questions you may need to ask about the services we provide. If you are not satisfied with one of the answers, or your question is not listed, then please contact us directly.

Do I need to make an appointment to visit a LLS4U showroom?

Yes. You can make an appointment whenever it suits you. Check our website for individual site opening hours. If we are expecting your arrival, however, we can make sure we have someone available to answer all your questions straight away. So if you’re going to be in a hurry, or you want to test drive a specific car, the safest option might be to make an appointment.

When are you open?

Our showroom opening from 9.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday. Appointments are available on request for Sunday and Bank Holidays.

What documents do I need in order to take a test drive?

To test drive any of our cars in stock, all you need to bring with you is your driving licence (parts, card & counterpart)

What do I need to bring with me when I buy a car?

To drive your car away on the day of purchase, you’ll need to bring your driving licence (including the counterpart), a utility bill showing your current address dated within the last three months and a proof of signature. We may also require recent wage slips (if you’re arranging finance for your car), documents for your old car (if you’re part exchanging) and your current insurance details.

If I buy today, will I be insured?

We understand that you’ll want to drive your next car home as soon as possible, but you have to provide a copy of your insurance to drive off.

Do LLS4U cars come with a warrantee?

We aim to provide every customer with the reassurance and level of service that should come as standard when you’re buying a used car. Every LLS4U car comes with a comprehensive three month guarantee*, and extended guarantees of up to three years are also available. All of our cars have a full and thorough pre-sale mechanical inspection covering bodywork, engine, brakes and tyres.

Finance queries

I don’t have a deposit – can I get finance?

Usually, yes. Many of LLS4U’s flexible finance solutions are geared towards customers with low deposits or even no deposit at all from our panel of lenders, although in some circumstances one may be required. This will depend on your personal financial circumstances.

I have poor credit rating/CCJs – can I get finance?

We try to cater for all types of customers and have an extensive panel of finance companies to support this. Often, with just one issue or a generally weak credit rating, we can supply a financial solution to help you purchase a car. This will depend on your overall financial circumstances, but get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

I have outstanding finance on my current car – can you help me?

Usually, yes. LLS4U’s flexible finance solutions help you manage your way out of existing finance agreements and into a new car with Carcraft. Again, it partially depends on your overall financial circumstances, so contact us and we’ll see how we can help.

I’m a student – can I get finance?

This will depend on your overall personal circumstances, so please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

I’m unemployed – can I get finance?

If you are just unemployed at present, it is unlikely, but if you are unemployed due to disability or you act as a carer then it’s possible. It really depends on your overall personal circumstances, so get in touch and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Part-exchange queries

Will you take my old car in part-exchange?

To help make things as affordable as possible, LLS4U may take your old car in part-exchange. We’ll accept your car as a deposit against any vehicle in stock.

What do I need to bring for my part-exchange car?

All we ask is that you bring your log book (V5), MOT certificate (if it has one) and any other documentation, such as the owner’s handbook, the car’s service record, spare keys and radio codes & wheel unlocking nut.

Can I sell my car in your website?

Yes. You can sell your car in LLS4U website. Just visit http://lls4u.com/sell-your-used-car and click on sell my car and fill all the information required.

Do I get charge for selling my car in LLS4U website ?

No. It is free but we will inform you if there are any small fees that may apply.

Can I keep my car at my address while advertising in LLS4U website?

No. We need the car in our showroom, before you put it in our website.

Collection and use of data

Any personal data you provide will be held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We will use your personal data for the purpose(s) for which you have provided. It may also be used for marketing, offering renewals, research and statistical purposes and crime prevention. We may however need to disclose personal data to a third party so that the service you requested could be provided. Your data may be disclosed to regulatory bodies for the purposes of monitoring and/or enforcing compliance with any regulatory rules/codes.

If you give us information about another person, in doing so you confirm that they have given you permission to provide it to us to be able to process their personal data (including any sensitive personal data) and also that you have told them who we are and what we will use their data for, as set out in this notice.

Prices

Personal car leasing and personal contract Hire prices on the website are exclusive of VAT at the current rate. All contract hire & used car sales are subject to VAT at the current rate.
All quotations include road fund license for the period of the contract unless otherwise specified in a contract hire agreement or sale receipts.
Maintenance includes all routine maintenance, servicing, tyres, punctures and all necessary repairs with the exception of accident damage and damage caused through negligence, All customers must check the term of the contract before signing.
Pricing is correct at time of publication.

Delivery
Delivery time frames are subject to credit acceptance, documentation fee payment, all forms being signed and returned and for personal car leasing and contract hire is subject to the cooling off period being completed. A delivery day and time cannot be issued and fulfilled unless every steps of the contract is completed.
